Education infrastructure contractors in Wollert, Melbourne delivering integrated civil works for schools with sports facilities

SCOPE OF WORK

Carlo Acutis School in Wollert required an integrated civil package combining campus circulation, sports field interfaces, drainage performance, and irrigation infrastructure across multiple surface types—a complex scope requiring close coordination between hardstand, landscape, and sports surface elements.

Long-term performance across hardstands and sports surfaces depends on precise line and level control. Our team used survey set-out and continuous verification to hold grades and transitions throughout construction, coordinating drainage falls with irrigation requirements to achieve compliant wet-weather functionality across high-use areas. This coordination was critical—drainage and irrigation systems share similar depth zones, so conflicts had to be resolved during design verification before installation began.

Sequencing added complexity. Oval edge levels had to be locked in before pavement tie-ins could be completed. Stormwater pits needed to be installed and verified before asphalt or concrete was placed around them. Irrigation lines had to be pressure-tested before backfilling. Our team staged each site operation to protect interface tolerances, reducing rework risk and ensuring every element tied in cleanly as the precinct progressed.

The completed outcome is a cohesive, durable external environment supporting safe movement, predictable drainage behavior, and long-term surface performance for ongoing school and community use.

This project demonstrates our capability to deliver complex, multi-discipline civil packages where hardstand works, sports infrastructure, and service coordination must be managed simultaneously without compromising quality or program delivery.
